ANGRY SAMOAN..... Deep and dark, down in the depths of the jungle there was a sound that was born. In that sound, there was a heartbeat. That heartbeat had the sound of a drum. That drum was where the Angry Samoan was born. Picking up his first dance album in 97' from NY's finest, Bad Boy Bill. He quickly realized the passion for the music. Embracing the art and the sighing of Neo Tribe in 2000, he landed gigs with Sic vicious, DJ Brain and DJ Trevor from Moon Tribe. Angry Samoans tribal style was perfect for that time! In 2003 he embarked on a journey of his life time to Australia. Inspired by their scene and seeing such greats as Timo Maas, Sister Bliss, Chris Liberator and more, he started his own lounge house night. With his success of his night in Melbourne, Australia, he landed a gig at a popular night club called Area 61, where he opened for a crowd favorite by the name of Kid Kenobe. Playing with such great DJ's as Deko-ze, John Kelly, Johnny Fiasco, Paranoid Jack, Nicky Delgado, R.C Lair and The Firm he still made his impression felt on the dance floor!! With 2007 being a big year. With invitations to play at Soundwave and VEMF and the signing and affiliation with Tribe and Short Fuse Productions, the Angry Samoan is hungry for more!! DJ BRIDEN..... DJ Briden (a.k.a. Brian Denomey) has been on the decks for about 7 years now, playing clubs, raves, underground venues, and outdoor events. Over the last 5 years, he's fostered the Stereoshift Collective in Kamloops BC and thrown many events, bringing quality electronic music to the interior of BC and beyond. His sets are energy packed, ranging from progressive, to dark and funky, to full on madness. Briden recently moved to Victoria BC to pursue his craft in a bigger city.
